Downloading from the HP Site only downloads the whole instalation program not just the drivers - I have done this twice before and don't want to waste the time doing it again with not sucess.Īm I missing something obvious or should I just give up and buy a new computer.maybe an Day. when running the update the drivers cannot be found. There is a trouble shoot icon beside the laptop on the my computer screen and when running the troubleshooter it says to update the drivers for the HP Officejet Pro 8500 A910. If I type the IP address 192.168.1.107 into the web browser (either Chrome or IE) it cannot be found. This went on fine for about a month and then again the laptop cannot find the printer on the network yet again all the other devices can. it suddenly couldn't find the printer, I tried everything suggested on the support pages, re-installing, turning off firewall etc etc but to no avail. My HP home laptop running windows 7 is another matter. I can print to it from my Iphone, Ipad, Nexus 5 phone, Nexus 10 and my company hp laptop. I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 A910 which is connected to my wireless network.
